fischer Automotive stands for an outstanding product quality and modern manufacturing technologies at its headquarters in Germany (Horb) as well as at its sites in the Czech Republic (Ivanovice), Serbia (Jagodina), China (Taicang) and in the USA (Auburn Hills). International project teams work hand in hand on the implementation of customer orders.

The product range includes air vents, cup holders, storage compartments, electrically operated loading flaps and multifunctional components that ensure organisation and comfort in the vehicle. The design and feel of the components emphasise the respective vehicle type and its characteristics.

At the development centre in Horb am Neckar, interior and exterior components are created that meet all requirements for future-oriented product solutions. State-of-the-art technologies and plastic compounds are used in development and production. fischer Automotive has extensive expertise in terms of materials and tools and draws on the multi-award-winning production and process system when manufacturing its products. The automotive supplier is thereby able to meet the standards for the highest levels of comfort, weight reduction and elegant design. At the same time the continuous improvement makes an important contribution to the sustainability in the company. The production facilities of fischer Automotive are located worldwide close to its customers. Due to its high logistics competence, fischer Automotive supplies its parts also as Just-in-Sequence.

fischer Automotive is the second largest part of the globally active fischer group of companies. In 1982, the groundwork was laid for the introduction of the subsidiary company, which was founded in 2001, as a partner within the automotive industry through the launch of the fischer CBOX, a storage system for music tapes in cars. In the years of 2018 and 2016 fischer Automotive was awarded by GM with the Supplier Quality Excellence Award. In 2015, fischer Automotive received the SPE Award for Innovative Use of Plastics in Automotive Manufacturing: The air vent of the Daimler C-Class, manufactured with environmentally friendly production processes, received an award in the category of “Parts & Components - Body Interior”.
